Hi, my name is Ugo and I’m a coat addict…I’m also very good at inexpensive style. Talk about dangerous combination. Meghan Markle’s; ahem excuse me, HRH Duchess Meghan - House of Sussex; has been a style inspo of mine since I started watching Suits. But when I saw her walk out with the cream coat this winter, I gagged.
So I scoured, I searched, I used methods that would make the CIA squirm. No avail. I almost gave up until one day something in my style chakra told me to go to H&M on a random Tuesday. Lo and behold, this beauty.
With only two left on the rack, I told myself this is God working. Tried it on right there on the shopping floor. Who needs a dressing room? Perfect fit. Then I braced myself for the price tag. We all know that H&M has premium items that are over $100. God knows it’s hard to justify a fast fashion purchase for that dollar amount. Courageously, I flipped over the tag.
$35! Yes THIRTY-FIVE. I immediately ran to check out and asked for a price check. When the blessing was confirmed, I swiped my bank card so fast that smoke was came off of it.
Lesson of the day, keep your eyes peeled. You never know when a gem will present it’s self and you never know how crazy I’ll behave when I see a good bargain. Unfortunately, it’s sold out, but H&M has similar options. Click the coats below!
