01.19.15 OOTD

I finally did a post! Here's an outfit inspired by a Polyvore set I posted last week on my Instagram.

The key piece is obviously this oversized pastel pink coat. I don't do a lot of typically feminine colors, but if I am going to do it, its going to be like this! The best part is that this coat was purchased for under $10 from a vintage store! (Gag right?) 

The sweater is from Forever XXI. Every time I wear it my Dad yells at me because the thinks its cashmere and doesn't want me to waste any more money! LOL. 

The jeans are from H&M and the suede ankle boots are by Chinese Laundry.

The only accessory I added to this outfit is my Marc by Marc Jacobs Rose gold watch.

FASHION: 10.27.14

Today I decided to go metallic. Sometimes wearing metallics can look gaudy and cheap. But if you pair it with simple and basic pieces, it can look really modern and clean.

I grabbed my gold skinny jeans by J. Crew ( I got them at a vintage/thrift store for $10!) and paired it with another J. Crew piece; my grey cardigan. Under that I wore a black Vince camisole.  

My shoes are simple Steve Madden nude patent ballet flats and a bronzy gold Calvin Klein tote.

FASHION: BLK x WHT x GRY

Lately I have been really into black, grey, and white pieces.  It's really easy to style and pair.  I love how simple yet editorial it looks and it a great way to maintain white into the cooler warmer toned seasons with the standard black and grey.

I'm a student, so I don't have a lot of time to to pick out intricate outfits everyday.  But with this color scheme, I have a easier time pairing my clothes without compromising my love for style and fashion.
